Parts, Sales, & Service Representative (Southwest US Region)

Sandvik Mining, a world class provider of solutions for virtually any mining and construction industry application encompassing such diverse businesses as surface mining, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering, is currently looking for a Parts, Sales, & Service Representative in the SW region (CO,WY, NM, AZ, UT, NV).
Key performance areas
As a Parts, Sales, & Service Representative, you will identify aftermarket sales opportunities within a defined customer base, as well as being responsible for sales development. In addition, you will perform gap analysis on the existing fleet to identify sales opportunities for Sandvik and other brands. You also will ensure accounts are in compliance with Sandvik terms and conditions of sale, and provide input to Business Line Managers (BLM) to address product offerings.
Additionally, you will:
  • Build strong working relationships with relevant Dealer/Customer personnel
  • Stay current with industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers
  • Monitor and record change in APR active fleet (including competitive equipment)
  • Participate as a key member in an account or sales team
Your profile
In addition to possessing a technical degree or two year college diploma, you have three years’ related experience. You are flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated ability to develop knowledge of customer business processes. You also are customer-oriented, and capable of working as part of an integrated, broad team. Experience with Surface Mining is a plus.
Candidate should also possess:
  • Excellent customer relations and active listening skills
  • Highly developed time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to travel up to 75% of the time
