The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within Core Services at Sandvik IT is responsible for maintaining and improving Active Directory and SIAM systems in accordance with requests from Sandvik’s internal customers. Due to increased complexity in this specific field, we have formed a focused service team to address the development and strategy of authentication and identity management. As part of our journey, we are looking for an IT Service Manager to lead the Development and Operation team responsible for authentication and entitlement for our products and services. You enjoy mixing technology and people management and are in the forefront of enabling cloud and authentication services.
The location for this position is flexible, but Kista in Stockholm is preferred.
Job Summary
As IT Service Manager, you are responsible for the overall strategy of the entire service suite for Identity & Access Management (IAM). You develop strategies, architecture and implementation plans for all of our products and services to ensure a best-in-class experience that proactively meets business needs. Identifying and prioritizing areas for digital authentication and entitlement services improvements are important responsibilities in this role, as is gaining stakeholder acceptance of IAM initiatives, developing communication plans and producing status reports. Furthermore, you evaluate new IAM-related technologies for potential adoption and manage on-going support for IAM production systems. You collaborate with the management of other teams to ensure that our service delivery meets organizational and customer expectations, you manage operational budgets and communicate relevant information or issues to executives, managers, staff and customers. Finally, you supervise the daily activities of the team and have the responsibility to plan and support career growth for your staff.
This position involves occasional traveling.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent knowledge obtained from previous work experience. You have five to ten years’ experience from managing technical development, leading architecture design and delivering successful technology solutions with a proven record of success. For this position, you need a documented background of strong leadership, team building qualities and experience of operational staff responsibility, while previous knowledge of IAM principles, including design and development of provisioning flows, implementing role resolution, role mining and administration is advantageous. As we work in a global environment, you have excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
