Financial Tender Support & Compliance (FTSC) Officer
32 -36 hours a week

Your responsibilities
In this role you provide financial and accounting services, to Hivos global office and the Regional hubs. You apply Hivos' financial and accounting procedures and guard sustainability requirements. As FTSC officer you support audits and look after compliance with donor regulations and application thereof.

On top of that you collect and apply Hivos' expertise on donor requirements while designing and realizing budgets and deployment. You assist to aggregate project budgets and guard business critical processes. In this role you will be answerable to the manager Finance, Support & Control.

Your profile
For this position you need to have a professional level of working and thinking and relevant higher education like economics or accountancy. You have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in international organizations. Next to that we expect a good understanding of the key issues Hivos operates on. You are a well-organized, independent, decisive and energetic person. You have good communication and social interaction skills. The working language of Hivos is English, proficiency in Dutch and certainly Spanish are assets. Finally you live in the Netherlands, are an EU citizen or have a valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands.

What we offer
A stimulating work environment in a professional international organization with dedicated staff, including international travel. Employment is offered for the one year with option for extension. Your gross salary, depending on experience, will be up to a maximum of EU 4.307 (fulltime). Travel cost compensation in accordance with Hivos regulations. Participation in the pension fund.
