For a position in the department Demand for area Production we are looking for an IT Demand Manager who likes being a responsible system owner and building the relevant networks to support this work. In order to manage these operations you need broad knowledge of IT systems, preferably SAP, and an understanding of the needs from the manufacturing industry for automation processes. A truly global team with nine members is looking forward to meeting you. The location for this position is preferably Sandviken, but Gimo can also be considered.
Job Summary
As IT Demand Manager you are responsible for managing global ERP and MES systems, including change control procedures, budget and life-cycle management. With global responsibility, you manage the local IT coordinators connected to the IT process and work with the individuals responsible for business to manage the global change control procedures in a virtual team. Furthermore you conduct strategic pre-studies and develop supplier relations and development for the Sandvik IT/GSS organization. Depending on the needs of the operations, travel may be required.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Industrial Economics, Computer Science, Systems Development or Mechanical Engineering. Alternatively, you may have equivalent knowledge obtained through work experience. You have at least six years of experience from the IT Demand area and good skills in English, in both writing and speaking, while skills in Swedish are an advantage.
