Administrative Assistant Washington, DC

We seek a motivated professional to provide administrative and project support to the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will have superior administrative skills, strong attention to detail, a pro-active work approach, as well as exceptional relationship building skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for data input into HRIS systems, for U.S. and Africa based employees
• Work closely with HR department in all staff communications including monthly personnel updates, bi-monthly global HR calls and other related messaging
• Assist HR Officer with completing annual salary surveys and benefit compliance testing documentation.
• Work closely with entire HR team to provide administrative support for CrossRoads, our intranet, including: adding/editing content; auditing, etc.
• Assist with the administration of the Global Service Award Program, including managing inventory and coordination of the distribution of awards
• Provide administrative support related to Foundation policies and procedures
• Support recruiting efforts as needed to include: job postings and formatting, and onboarding schedules
• Assist with logistics for meetings, trainings and conferences; makes travel arrangements, as requested.
• Responsible for processing invoices
• Assist with collecting and following up on annual conflict of interest forms
• Ensure compliance posters are ordered and posted in the DC and LA offices on an annual basis, or as needed
• Acts as back up for Administration Officer as needed.
• Acts as back up for front desk coverage as needed.
• Assists with other duties and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum one year administrative experience
