Corporate Social Responsibility Analyst
Local Position
To act as advisor on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which includes: i) CSR strategy implementation, ii) mitigating risks on CSR issues for Maersk Oil; iii) ensuring that the Maersk Oil Brasil is informed about the relevant CSR topics and emerging agendas; iv) deliver high level and expert strategic CSR direction supporting the overall business strategy; v) and external representation of Maersk Oil Brasil on social responsibility issues.
KEY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Facilitate the implementation of Maersk Oil’s CSR strategy across MOB.
B. Frame MOB on social responsibility issues:
- Lead MOB on the following areas: social investments, human rights, social partnerships and stakeholder engagement;
- Provide expert advise, guidance and knowledge sharing to MOB at all levels;
- Ensure integration of CSR issues across MOB, including practical, value-adding and timely services and deliverables;
- Contribute to general CSR awareness within MOB;
C. CSR governance across the Maersk Oil’s organization:
- Represent MOB in the CSR network and facilitate knowledge sharing, coordination and input on social risks within the whole Maersk Oil’s organization.
D. Drive a systematic approach for engaging with stakeholders and global trends spotting:
- Drive the mapping of stakeholders and their value propositions;
- Support a strategic approach to stakeholder engagement across relevant issues;
- Monitor and initiate action when appropriate on trends and changes within the social responsibility agenda;
- Engage with and influence key stakeholders;
- Represent the MOB in leading external national and international forums;
E. Facilitate and deliver CSR reporting and communication:
- Coordinate internal management reporting on social responsibility issues, preparing MOB for corporate reviews;
- Provide input to internal and external communication on social responsibility.
- Present CSR projects at conferences and to media;
- Boil the CSR story down to a few key messages;
- Coordinate input from MOB to Maersk Oil/Group external sustainability reporting;
Pre-requisites:
- Graduation completed;
- Previous experience in the Social Responsibility area, among other related areas;
- Fluent English;
Desirable:
- Pos-graduation in Social Responsibility;
- Certification in International Standards, p. ex:
§ ISO 9001:2008 (Quality),
§ ISO 14001:2004 (environment),
§ OHSAS 18001:2007 (Occupational health and safety),
§ SA 8000:2008 (Social Responsibility),
§ ISO 19011:2011 (Guidelines for Auditing management systems),
§ ISO 26000 (Management of Social Responsibility);
- Extension courses in the area of Social Responsibility;
- Participation in International and National Congresses and Conferences of Social Responsibility, Private Social Investments and Social Business;
- Experience in the Third Sector and/or Business Institutes;
