Digital Transformation Leader

The Digital Strategy Leader will be the lynchpin in enabling the transformation of IBM's digital presence in (IMT/GMT). This will be done by working with the CHQ Digital Strategy team and the GMU Digital Strategy Leader to design and execute a program of work that achieves the four components of the IBM Digital Framework. and to drive IBM digital marketing leadership.

2. Effectively communicate the strategy, actions, and results of the digital change program across roles and functions.

The purpose of the framework is to drive the rapid transformation of business results achieved by the deployment of IBM’s digital presence. The four key components of the Digital Framework (and thereby measures of success for this role) are: Size Optimization, Client Experience Optimization, Content Optimization, and Digital Resource Optimization.
The Digital Strategy Leader must possess the skills to align and integrate the (IMT/GMT) M&C team with the IBM Digital Framework and integrate the (IMT/GMT) team in the execution of the framework components. The role will be responsible for developing an integrated strategy across paid, owned and earned media.

This is envisaged as an assignment working in an area of utmost strategic importance to IBM's commercial success, and thereby having direct visibility to IBM senior leadership. Successful candidates are likely to be high-performing, high-potential individuals, with a proven track record of program management and change management success.

Responsibilities:
1. Execute a program of work to transform IBM’s digital presence (ibm.com, w3, mobile, etc.) on and off domain that aligns corporate digital strategy with GMT/GMU business goals.
2. Catalyze and accelerate the digital transformation of IBM’s M&C function in Market by leveraging the IBM Digital Framework as guide:
Size Optimization: Optimize the size of IBM's digital presence to drive cost efficiency and sales effectiveness.
Experience Optimization: Ensure the GMT presence operates within the IBM digital design system.
Content Optimization: Drive continuous improvement of content and messaging, based on measured business outcomes. Ensure all content conforms to IBM digital content governance as it is introduced. Enable local teams and agency partners to produce and optimize digital content in an "agile" manner.
Resource Optimization: Work with the GMT M&C leader, as well as M&C brand and functional leaders, to ensure the right mix of skills and resources are present to execute the digital framework and to drive IBM digital marketing leadership.

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in Change enablement across functions and markets
  • At least 2 years experience in Digital thought leadership and strategic insight
  • English: Fluent
