External Sales Manager - BCO/FWD - Maersk Line, Bangkok, Thailand

Tasks and responsibilities:

· To deliver and optimise volume and yield of External Sales - Dry team.

· Deploy clear objectives for External Sales - Dry team in line with the Cluster scorecard and Maersk Line and sales strategy

· Drive a performance culture within team

· Monitor and Develop a sales pipeline mindset, supported by an effective coaching

· Develop competency of the sales staffs

· Deploy External Sales Dry team resources to maximize client share-of-wallet

· Maintain relationship with top customers in External Sales - Dry segment

· Work in co-ordination with Inside Sales channel to ensure proper allocation of clients to the appropriate channels

· Optimise customer mix

· Manage and control sales expense budget.

· Manage and improve Customer satisfaction level.

· Optimise customer mix

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years experience in Shipping or related industry. Experience in Liner sales will be an advantage.

· Knowledge and experience in market research and yield management is an advantage

· Experience in leading a team of at least 5 people

· Leadership and Decision making skill is required for successful candidate.

· Good communication in English and persuasion skills
