PATH Thailand is seeking qualified applicants for Program Assistant position for The Global Fund SSF project, a 3 - 5 years project funded by Global Fund.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serve as secretariat for expert groups to gather their ideas and materialize them into draft tools or curriculum or document.
  2. Organize fact finding team to assess bottleneck in health systems and gather inputs from practitioners for how to improve CABA(Children Affected by AIDS) situation in orphanages.
  3. Follow through with tool/document/ training module development from experts and drafters; ensure good quality of pretesting, and oversee tool production related to orphanages and school system.
  4. Provide capacity building as well as technical assistance and back-up for team members and counterparts in MSDHS(The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security).
  5. Working with Teenpath team to explore how to engage “Student Protection and care” system in Misnitry of Education to adjust/ issue guideline for how to handle CABA(Children Affected by AIDS) in school system.
  6. Working closely with M&E Officer/Advisor to communicate strategic information on both fronts: orphanages implementing development tools as advised and ‘Student Protection and Care” system are sensitized to CABA(Children Affected by AIDS) to all stakeholders involved Draft reports for program manager.
Required Skills
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken Thai and English.
Required Experience

A minimum of four years of assistant-level experience with three years working on public health programs.

Experience in Global Fund program will be advantage.
