Programme Officer: Contracts and Agreements

Initially, 9 month fixed term contract, part-time hours (50%)

Annual Salary £28,000 - £30,000 (FTE) plus attractive benefits package

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports communities to meet the challenges of AIDS and build healthier communities. Our vision is a world in which people do not die of AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

We are seeking a French speaking Programme Officer to join our Contracts and Agreements team. They will be responsible for supporting the implementation of contracted project activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as for supporting other Alliance relationships and work.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Programme Officer with sound knowledge and experience of HIV and AIDS programming. S/he will be highly motivated, flexible and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in French and English is essential.

Please note that the Alliance also has a vacancy for a part-time (50%) Programme Officer within our Latin America and Caribbean team. We are therefore able to accept applications from those who wish to be considered for both positions together (i.e. working 100% hours in total).
