Programme Officer: Latin America & Caribbean

Initially, one year fixed term contract, part-time hours (50%)

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports communities to meet the challenges of AIDS and build healthier communities. Our vision is a world in which people do not die of AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.

We are seeking a Spanish speaking Programme Officer to join our Latin America and the Caribbean team. They will be responsible for programme development, monitoring and reporting; contract oversight, programme implementation and budget control of LO programmes in assigned countries.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Programme Officer with sound knowledge and experience of HIV and AIDS programming. S/he will be highly motivated, flexible and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

Please note that the Alliance also has a vacancy for a part-time (50%) Programme Officer within our Contracts and Agreements team. We are therefore also able to accept applications from those who wish to be considered for both positions together (i.e. working 100% hours in total).
