| To ensure that the BI Portal supports and promotes Business Intelligence in Vodacom by: -- Actively promoting the use of the BI Portal by means of newsletters, demo sessions and an induction programme. -- Identifying information consumers and stakeholders and providing guidance on the availability and location of information relevant to them. To understand and be responsible for the content, design, navigation and layout of the information published on the BI Portal. To make the BI Portal easy to use by ensuring that: -- it simplifies the dissemination, display, delivery and access to the bulk of information available; -- Content is fresh, relevant and actively used; -- Correctly classified and named to cater for different business units and processes; -- Duplication is minimised; -- Related information are linked to assist with navigation; -- Search functionality is optimal and; -- Published information is of high integrity and quality assured. Identify, investigate, analyse and document user experiences with the content on the BI portal and propose solutions in enhancing the user experience. Identify, document and maintain frequently asked questions and provide additional end-user guidance through enhancing video tutorials. Effectively communicate all BI Portal enhancements to relevant stakeholders. Initiate and manage changes to BI Portal, working closely with business analysts on the most appropriate solutions. To ensure that all information published on the portal is in accordance with the Company’s Information Classification Policy. To manage the security framework and access application process. To initiate and co-ordinate a BI Portal governance framework which will ensure flexibility and consistency in published content, navigation and layout. To manage and prioritise new information requests, and communicate progress to requestor. | |

| Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent* (Essential) Graduate degree / 3 year diploma or SAQA accredited equivalent* in Information Technology/ Information Science/ Media Studies or related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a Business Intelligence environment (Essential) At least 1 year Business Analyst experience (Essential) Knowledge Management experience (Preferable) Publishing, editing and web page design experience (Preferable) Telecommunication industry experience (Advantageous) | |
