Team Leader / Chief of Party
International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S.-based international development consulting company, is seeking a Team Leader/Project Manager with experience in conflict/post-conflict environments for long-term USG monitoring and evaluation projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Team Leader will be responsible for managing the office, hiring local staff, and managing all other aspects of the project and project office from finances to program oversight and resource management. Additionally, the Team Leader will be responsible for leading M&E efforts. The Team Leader will be the primary point of contact between the project and the funding agency and the IBTCI Home Office.
Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience, with at least 5 years of upper level international program management experience (i.e. program director).
• Must have demonstrated qualitative and quantitative skill and experience in program monitoring and evaluation.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing monitoring and evaluation programs, especially in challenging environments.
• Self-sufficient self-starter who takes initiative and does not require external motivation.
• Track record of successful small team leadership and demonstrated experience managing teams of host country nationals.
• Literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and oral communication skills.
