Help us better understand what our customers need
Being a User Experience Designer at Barclays will give you a chance to do just that, while shaping the future of our secure Online Banking site, a key strategic channel that's visited by over five million customers a week. You'll get involved in all aspects of digital change and use a variety of different project methodologies, which will provide you with plenty of variety and great opportunities for development. Best of all, you'll be working in a great team-based environment for one of the UK's best-known and most respected brands.
What you'll give our customers as a User Experience Designer
You'll work closely with other members of the digital development team to understand the needs of our customers, while making sure that the customer experience is at the heart of all change and building the profile of the User Experience team. That will involve suggesting and implementing new developments to improve the online customer journey and drive commercial development. Above all, you'll maintain a high customer focus and an awareness of our competitors and general trends within the marketplace
What you'll get in return
Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you'll get the same in return. We're not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You'll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.
What you'll need as a User Experience Designer
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need extensive online development experience and a track record of working with design, production and development teams to see projects through from inception to completion. A creative and structured approach to change is a must, and we'll also need to see effective written and oral communication skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.
