Strong relationships lead to excellent service
Being a Telephony Business Development Manager at Barclays is a great opportunity to work across our entire retail bank by finding new ways to transform and improve the Telephony Direct Channels division. That's going to involve building, maintaining and leveraging strong relationships across the chief operating, national performance and distribution excellence teams, among others. It's a role that you can count on for valuable exposure to high-level stakeholders from all over the business - plus the competitive salary and flexible benefits you'd expect from one of the industry's most iconic brands.
What you'll give our customers as a Telephony Business Development Manager
We'll look to you to develop operational, infrastructure, technical and people capabilities across the business in a way that effectively balances costs and benefits. To do that, you'll need to work across boundaries and create a constructive, no-nonsense approach to providing feedback. What's more, we'll expect you to stay on top of developments that might impact our telephony or customer networks and build strong relationships with other operational support teams to deliver coordinated business plans.
What you'll get in return
Help our customers get the best that Barclays has to offer, and you'll get the same in return. We're not just talking about valuable benefits like great bonus potential, private healthcare, childcare savings, and a huge range of employee discounts. You'll also enjoy a unique company spirit that believes in giving people the freedom to do a great job today, and the support to reach their biggest ambitions in the future.
What you'll need as a Telephony Business Development Manager
The success of everyone at Barclays is measured by their ability to put our customers at the centre of their day. To do that in this role, you'll need contact centre leadership experience and a track record of managing a multi-discipline professional services team to improve performance. Stakeholder management experience is vital, and we'll need to see a solid understanding of project management methodologies. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels are also essential.
We'll judge you on your ability and nothing else.
Careers built around customers.
