Bid Manager

Northampton

Up to £27,500 per annum plus excellent benefits

As one of a team of 7 central Bid Mangers you'll play a vital role in our tenders and bids team creating winning documentation to deliver new or additional business. By evaluating and understanding our clients' requirements and leading on best practice, writing and managing the production of tenders or bids you'll work with our sales teams to co-ordinate and deliver bid/tender opportunities ensuring the right people provide input so you can develop quality final responses. With your strong interpersonal skills and excellent written communication you will ensure our tender activity is on brand and of the highest quality.

What you'll need

• experience of working on end to end bid process - you may be from financial services or another large corporate but will have good tender exposure
• excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills as a key part of the role will be challenging and influencing key stakeholders to agree goals and influence decisions
• proven ability to deliver under pressure, working on own and as part of a team, and to quality standards; attention to detail is critical in this role
• good time management and organisational skills; able to prioritise workload and demonstrate track record of achieving deadlines to achieve business goals
• strong Microsoft Office application skills, and written English and grammar
• ability to utilise analytical skills to augment reporting requirements of role
