The Role
Our Antitrust Competition and Trade lawyers are among the best in
the world. They are widely recognised as operating at the forefront of
this practice area advising our clients on all types of competition
cases around the world, many of which are cross-border or global.
We advise on the complete range of competition, antitrust, regulatory, and trade issues and have a substantial litigation practice, regularly appearing in the European and national courts on EU law, antitrust/competition and trade cases.
This is a chance for a high-calibre Associate to join an
award-winning and energetic team of true professionals who consistently
strive to develop new and imaginative commercial solutions to the issues
faced by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer clients.

Key Requirements
We are seeking Lawyers with first rate technical and commercial
abilities and relevant experience in antitrust/competition and trade.
Driven to do high quality work, you will be able to contribute to the wider success of the team either through proactive involvement in business development and knowledge management, or by supervising more junior lawyers/trainees. You will have excellent communication skills, will be able to take on a high degree of responsibility, and manage a challenging workload. You must also be proactive and committed to providing an excellent service to our clients.
Other
Rolling recruitment program. Salary range is approximately £60,000 - £110,000 depending on PQE level and the seniority of particular role.
Where we indicate a band of PQE for a role, this indicates how long we would expect a lawyer to take to gain the level of experience required in an appropriate legal context. It does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE who can demonstrate that they have acquired the relevant experience.
