Asian Development Bank Head, Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI)


ADB seeks qualified professionals to fill its vacancy for the Head of the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI):
HEAD, OFFICE OF ANTICORRUPTION AND INTEGRITY (OAI) 
Job Purpose:
Oversee the planning and direction of the Office’s activities and responsibilities, which include (a) investigating allegations of violations of ADB's anticorruption policy in ADB-financed projects, and among ADB staff, (b) developing and implementing strategies to improve the awareness and implementation of ADB’s anticorruption policy by staff and ADB’s stakeholders, (c) providing advisory due diligence services to other ADB departments, and (d) conducting project procurement related reviews to detect and prevent fraud and corruption in ADB projects. Manage and oversee the efficient allocation of budget and resources to deliver OAI’s workplan and mandate.  Oversee the quality of work, ensure the achievement of objectives of the Office and continuously keep the Senior Management informed of emerging developments and challenges. Manage a range of long term issues of strategic importance with long term implications for the direction and performance of ADB. Maintain strong partnerships with other ADB governance functions.
Immediate Reporting Relationships:
The position reports to: The President
The following staff positions report to the Head of OAI: International Staff, National Staff, and Administrative Staff
Relevant Experience and Other Requirements:
Specific criteria include
  • Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
  • At least 15 years of relevant professional experience in similar organizations, public sector or equivalent
  • Knowledge of investigative protocols, tools, technologies, methodologies and techniques
  • An understanding of anti-fraud and anti-corruption prevention measures
  • Proven ability to effectively liaise and communicate with Management, staff and external counterparts
  • Sound planning, managerial and administrative skills together with superior interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and guide a complex and diverse team of investigators, lawyers, auditors and researchers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • International experience working in several countries
Education Requirements:
Master’s degree, or equivalent in Law, Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.
