ICT4E Researcher and Web Specialist - North Bethesda, Maryland, United States

Exciting and dedicated team searching for strong Information and Communication Technologies for Education (ICT) specialist to assist the Aguirre Division of JBS International in supporting USAID education and workforce development activities.  The successful incumbent will be a professional with experience in education in developing countries, knowledge management and/or digital marketing, delivering educational services and materials using information and communication technologies.  Duties will include managing day-to-day ICT for Education (ICT4E) activities, working closely with the client to ensure technical excellence in ICT4E activities.  Other tasks will be assigned as new projects arise. MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Language: English Fluency Education: Master’s degree required, preferably in Education, Computer Science, International Development, Social Sciences or a similar field. Knowledge:  Strong project management background; Must be highly adept at multi-tasking. Key qualifications include initiative, organizational skills, ability to work well in a team, and excellent communication skills (oral and written).  Experience: Seven years’ experience in research (and international development areas preferred) Software Proficiency: Microsoft office suite; digital media applications.  License/Credential:  NA PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:   Foreign language preferred Overseas experience preferred EOE, M/F/D/V.
