Tunis Teacher (TUN-T-616)

British Council Tunisia is recruiting teachers for our dynamic Teaching Centre in Tunis. We offer two-year full-time contracts starting on 13th November. You must have a CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL and at least two years experience of ELT after training. This must include experience of teaching school-age children as well as adults. A degree in any subject is also essential.

The Tunis teaching centre was purpose built only a few years ago and all 16 classrooms have an Interactive White Board. You would have to travel a long way to find better educational facilities. From January we will also be working with partner premises. You will be part of a supportive team and have the opportunity to widen your teaching experience and develop your skills.

Following the revolution in 2011, Tunisia is embarking on a new era as a democratic country, which many hope will become a model of Arab democracy which other countries can follow. Tunisians are enjoying freedoms that they never had before. Come and share in their excitement.
