Me To We is seeking an experienced full-time Manager of Leadership & Trips Programming to join our team in India. The India Manager of leadership will educate and empower the facilitation team, and support them as they empower youth to affect positive change in their communities and around the world. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring the program of our India program is of the utmost quality and that the safety of our staff and participants is of paramount importance. The position is based out of Me To We office in India.
 
The position is based out of Me to We Offices in Udaipur, India. A minimum two-year commitment is expected. Salary is to be negotiated. There is a six (6) month probationary period, upon reaching the three (3) month period, all staff members are offered a health plan including dental and Employee Assistant Program.

Responsibilities:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
·         Creation of itineraries for youth and adult trips
·         Updating modules (facilitating the process) for both social issues and leadership
·         Hosting and on-boarding fly-in and junior facilitators
·         Full time responsibility of the 24 hour India emergency phone
·         Liaising with each facilitator on a regular basis to give organizational updates, offer any support as needed both during crisis and regular programming
·         In collaboration with the India Program Director, ensure the overall success and quality of the Me to We programs in India, both in front line facilitation and administrational tasks in consultation with local team members
·         Provide leadership, management and supervision to members of the India Facilitation team as assigned by the Toronto leadership and coordination office
·         Management of logistics and operations related to preparation and execution of Me to We programming in India
·         Train, implement and reinforce Trips Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and India Risk Management document amongst the India Facilitation team
·         Ensure high standard of service and safety to participants including lodging, transportation, meals and volunteer experience
·         Ensure the overall success, expansion and quality of the Me to We program in India both in urban and rural settings in collaboration with the India Program Director
·         Creation of Seasonal Budgets for Youth Trips & Trip budgets for corporate & family and donor trips
 
Skills and Qualifications
·         Experience in and knowledge of Me to We Trips programming in India
·         Comfortable living and working with difference cultures, previous experience living in India is an asset
·         High level of professionalism with strong work ethic
·         Strong team leadership and managerial skills
·         Excellent oral and written communications with a variety of stakeholders, including schools, school boards, foundations, corporations, youth, local staff, high end donors, local people, and local government officials
·         Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines and to manage the time of the facilitators
·         Flexibility with delegated tasks and responsibilities as the position evolves
·         Minimum of 2 years experience in field work
·         Teaching certificate and/or experience planning curriculum
·         Experience assessing needs, budgeting, implementing programs oversees and coordinating youth and volunteer trips is an asset
