Project Manager Cisco

The Program/Project Manager will oversee cross-functional initiatives/programs and works closely with Services Marketing, GBO, and WW program managers on large/complex programs and initiatives coming through the NPI (new product introduction) process. PM will work with CA Sales, Marketing, Worldwide Channels, and Theatre core team to ensure service requirements meet business needs for the business. A comprehensive understanding of both Services Marketing and Services Operations is required. Lead and facilitate efforts to define, document, and deliver detailed project management and service readiness requirements.
Essential Functions:
  • Manage several concurrent programs/projects focused on Services Marketing initiatives and programs for the US/Canada Theatre Sales business
  • Work with Theatre core team in developing plan to implement program(s) in the theater and drive adoption in field, end user, and partner communities
  • Ability to comprehend how changes impact other functional areas, particularly the Sales organization and the Partner community Influence development/content and localize training material and collateral on new product launches (deliverables from Corp functions)
  • Define, document, and maintain CA processes
  • Manage specific end-to-end cross-functional process efforts create documentation that standardizes and scales the program management function of developing, launching, and supporting Services Marketing programs Communicate status of projects to the TPO Steering committee, Services Marketing program managers, and implementation to Global Adoption team Define and ensure implementation of service metrics associated with new services
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree a must Master's Degree in Business Administration strongly preferred
  • 10+ years overall experience, including 8+ years experience in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and/or Finance, and 3+ years of Program Management experience, including end-to-end processes
  • Understanding of Cisco Services and Lifecycle management
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Proven ability to grasp complex issues
  • A high level of independence, supported by strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills
  • Understanding of Marketing Programs and Portfolio Management are strongly preferred
  • Ability to present / train to broad range of audiences
  • Willing and able to travel as required to meet business needs Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Relationship management skills
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to effectively influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong ability to lead cross functional team meetings and mediate when necessary, often over the phone Ability to work with all levels of management
