PROJECT MANAGER
The European Biodiesel Board, also known as EBB, is a non-profit organisation established in January 1997. EBB promotes the use of biodiesel in the European Union. EBB groups the major biodiesel producers in Europe, located in 23 Member States.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to expand our Brussel’s office.
The ideal profile
  • University degree either in Law, Politics, Economics, Communication, or equivalent
  • Tough knowledge of EU decision-making process and actors is a must;
  • Prior experience in the field of energy, transport and/or environment will be considered a plus
  • Excellent English is required. The knowledge of additional EU languages is an asset
  • Genuine interest in environmental issues, fight against climate change and bio-energy
  • Understanding of the interplay between technical/industrial and political issues
  • “Can-do” attitude, ability to rapidly understand, summarize and solve complex problems
Tasks
Assist the Secretary General in the day to day work of the Federation, including:
  • Lobbying actions and networking with EU institutions and other stakeholders (industry, farmers, NGOs)
  • Monitoring EU and national legislative and regulatory frameworks for biodiesel/biofuels, energy, transport, agriculture, etc.
  • Monitoring biodiesel market developments at EU, national and international level
  • Contributing to define the position of the EU biodiesel industry on different political and technical issues
  • Participating in conferences and public events
  • Organising internal and external meetings
Working Place: Brussels
