Project Manager EQUALS For International Women’s Day


SALARY: £35,000 pro rata 
CONTRACT: 6 months, 3 days per week
LOCATION: Central London

If you have experience of working on high profile public communications campaigns and managing complex projects this Project Management role with EQUALS is perfect for you. Launched in 2011 EQUALS is a partnership of over 30 leading charities and arts organisations that comes together to celebrate International Women’s Day and step up the call for a more equal world. We are now looking to build on the success of International Women’s Day and make even more people aware of this celebration of the strength and achievements of women.
We are now looking for a skilled Project Manager to review and scope our work as well as create a strategic plan to develop a high profile public engagement project for 2014. Working with an external consultant we will look to you to secure resources and lay the foundations for partnerships and activities for 2014.
As Project Manager you will coordinate a wide range of stakeholders to develop a project plan for the next three years and manage its implementation. This will involve you overseeing coalition governance and decision-making structure as well as building consensus around future programmes. You will also supervise the production of core project outputs such as events, social media and media campaigns, brand partnerships and print materials. We will also look to you to identify new strategic partners and grow our coalition. Important too will be the ability to develop monitoring and evaluation systems.
With experience of working on high profile public communications campaigns and managing complex projects you are highly organised and skilled at ensuring tasks are delivered on time. An effective communicator you are creative and able to develop ideas to reach and enthuse new audiences Adept at building relationships with and managing multiple stakeholders including NGOs, celebrities, media, corporates and agencies you will have an enviable list of contacts in the youth sector and women’s movement.
