Transportation/Infrastructure Water Resources Engineering Intern for our Orlando, FL

We are currently seeking a Transportation/Infrastructure Water Resources Engineering Intern for ourOrlando, FL office location. This internship position would assist with storm water management, drainage design, hydrologic, hydraulic and water quality modeling and environmental permitting in accordance with FDOT, water management district and local municipality standards, criteria and accepted practices.

Requirements Requirements Must be pursuing an ABET accredited Bachelor or Master of Civil Engineering degree A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) An intermediate level of technical writing and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Project experience with FDOT District 5 and the City of Orlando Preparing permit packages for SJRWMD, SFWMD, SWFWMD, FDEP and USACE Watershed delineation and modeling experience Experience with FEMA LOMC and floodplain studies Project experience with design and plans production of stormwater ponds and drainage collection systems Prior work experience within the field of civil engineering specializing in water resources designs specific to municipal stormwater improvements and heavy highway projects in Florida Knowledge of ICPR, HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS A working knowledge of Microstation/Geopak and ArcGIS platforms When applying to this position, please include your salary requirements on your cover letter or resume.
