Civil Design Project Manager - Parramatta


Our Parramatta office is currently growing its Civil / Infrastructure capability, within Land Development services.  Due to our current workload, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior level Civil Engineer to join our team.  With work in-hand and a strong pipeline, you will be immediately working on wide ranging, challenging projects, with the opportunity management responsibility and growing a team in the near future.
This is a first level management role, requiring the successful candidate to provide technical and functional leadership to others.  Operating in a supervisory and technical advisory capacity on small to medium multi discipline projects/tasks, you will be expected to show resourcefulness and be capable of operating successfully in a small office environment.
Key skills and attributes sought from the successful candidate include (but are not limited to):
- Generalised technical skills in infrastructure delivery
- Strong project management / delivery capability, with the ability to apply project management principles at a competent level
- Proven ability to establish positive relationships with clients that enable ongoing work to be created
- Excellent written skills for preparation of proposals and technical reports
- Ability to lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup
- Initiative to resolve tasks or problems at a competent level
- Ability to operate with low level of supervision and seek guidance as appropriate
- Mentoring, guidance and training to less experienced staff
- Excellent skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning and organising
- An engineering degree acceptable to a recognised and relevant professional body
- Attainment of Professional certification
