Information Security Governance and Compliance (ISGC) is recruiting an Information Security Policy, Compliance and Risk Officer to join our team. We are responsible for managing and responding to the increasing information security challenges of the environment that the BBC operates in, particularly the increased use of third parties in providing services to the BBC divisions, and the migration from analogue to digital technologies in our content production and delivery. We are currently delivering an extensive information security improvement programme across the BBC.

Role

Supporting the Manager of Policy & Compliance and wider team, you'll help to ensure that data within the BBC is protected, in accordance with the needs of the business and according to Information Security principles of availability, integrity and confidentiality, and the policies and compliance activities of the ISGC team reflect and enhance this.

Requirements

You'll possess a comprehensive knowledge of Information Security and information risk management at a practical level along with some understanding of infrastructure and technology. An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you'll be comfortable building strong collaborative working relationships across a range of staff and levels.
