Global News Business Development (GNBD) is responsible for securing and developing partnerships that deliver an increasing proportion of Global News's reach and impact around the world. We manage a substantial network of radio, on-line, mobile and TV partners worldwide who offer audiences BBC World Service content via their platforms. As a key market facing team, we play an important role in providing insight into the latest media market developments and opportunities for English and World Service Languages. As a Partnership Development Executive, you work alongside business development colleagues in the Global News Division to help deliver partner events and other activity in the UK and overseas which helps support the large network of media partnerships managed by GNBD. 

Role

You will be focused primarily on delivering against contractual commitments relating to our many international media relationships, and be accountable for project and resource management of training projects and events. You will manage partnership development accounts and build and maintain relationships with media organisations and internal BBC stakeholders. You will also be will be expected to deliver high quality proposals, project and logistics management, as well as take responsibility for the coordination of activities between Business Development, Media Action and other BBC divisions including BBC World Service Language Services to enhance the partnership development annual business plan.

Requirements

You will have knowledge and experience of development, design and delivery of training and events as well as have a good understanding of project management methodologies and experience with standard project management techniques and software such as Prince2/Agile. Alongside this, you will have a track record of good relationship management including motivation, collaboration and communication as well as the ability to work in a high performing team to deliver results in a complex organisation. A successful track record of delivering projects is also essential.
