Experience required

Minimum of 15 years' experience in highways and/or traffic engineering with particular experience in the design of Road Markings and Signage.
Experience on major highways projects.

Skills

Graduate qualification in Civil/Highway/Traffic Engineering.
General grounding in Traffic/Roads Engineering.
Have demonstrated technical competence in the design and documentation of Markings and Signage on major highway projects.
Have demonstrated self -management and communication skills.
Particular experience required in applying and/or developing different standards of Road Signing and Markings.

Responsibilities

The Road Marking and Signage Engineer shall be responsible for delivery of technical outputs in accordance with the Project requirements

Liaison with Road and Traffic Design Review Teams, Client technical team and design consultants as part of the design management task.
Assist is the development of Standard details and solution associated with multiple highway projects.
Coordination of design review tasks as they relate to road signage and markings.
Assist in the development of baseline set of standards for road signage and markings.
Review of designs for compliance check with relevant standards.
