Strategy Development Consultant for WWB Gender Performance Initiative


About the Organization: 
Women’s World Banking (WWB) is an international network of 39 MFIs in 27 countries to bring financial services and information to low-income entrepreneurs. Its mission is to expand the economic assets, participation, and power of poor women as entrepreneurs and economic agents by opening their access to finance, knowledge and markets. It seeks to alleviate global poverty by expanding the economic assets, participation, and power of the poor, especially women.
About the Job: 
WWB is seeking proposals from an experienced consultant or team of consultants to develop a comprehensive strategy for WWB’s Gender Performance Initiative (GPI). The GPI framework defines and prioritizes key performance indicators to measure the implementation of good gender practice.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Leading the strategic planning process and developing a short-term and long-term strategy for the initiative;
  • Environmental scan, implementation plan, evaluation framework, marketing and branding plan, and the prioritization of strategic partnerships.
Qualifications: 
  • Strong analytical capabilities;
  • Strong understanding of the microfinance industry and current and future trends, particularly related to social performance and monitoring and evaluation;
  • Experience in business planning and strategy development;
  • Strong writing and presentation skills.
