Role
As part of a small engineering team, you will contribute to the design and build of the next generation iPlayer web application, by writing front-end code in PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, while collaborating closely with our editorial, product and design team.

Requirements
Essential
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or related field (or, equivalent work experience)
• Excellent hands-on skills and proven industry experience in JavaScript, X/HTML, CSS
• Experience in PHP and MVC frameworks such as Zend
• Knowledge and experience of web accessibility, usability, and cross-browser quirks
• Experience in Test/Business-Driven Development - creating automated tests as part of a continuous integration build to ensure consistent quality
• Works effectively with colleagues through pair programming and code reviews
• Good written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to work with the team
