Chief Of Party- Education

DevTech is recruiting Chief of Party candidates for several USAID funded education programs in Latin America. 

The positions are contingent on funding.

Summary of Responsibilities:

DevTech COPs are responsible for the overall management of the programs and are based in the country of performance. Among other duties COPs also:

• Serve as primary liaison with donor(s)
• Coordinate with local, regional and international organizations active in the education sector
• Manage and mentor project staff
• Coordinate with home office
• Oversee the project budgeting, monitoring, evaluation and reporting

 Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in education or relevant field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing education programs and development programs for results
• Experience serving as a COP or DCOP on USAID funded education programs in Latin America
• Have a demonstrated ability in effective project management, personnel management, and the capacity to develop solid working relationships with government, community and donor
  counterparts at all levels.
• Ability to fully and effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, in Spanish and English, is required.
• Extensive experience working with counterparts, particularly at the senior-levels of government and the private sector
