Key Account Manager – Public Funding Services

The LNE Group is a private consulting firm focused on the acquisition of public funding for technology companies. Our customers are U.S. and European multinationals as well as SMEs with innovative solutions in fields such as renewables, specialty chemicals, nanotechnology, etc. Our goal is to manage all of our clients' R&D project needs: finding grants, drafting project plans, building consortia with universities and research institutes, writing grant applications and administrating funding after winning an award. 

The LNE Group is headquartered in Cleveland (USA) and our European team is located in Berlin, Germany. We are looking to expand our team with a Key account manager for a world-leading chemicals manufacturer.

Your tasks:

• Support and advise a major chemical manufacturer in all things related to public funding;
• Research new technologies and markets in the area of paint, coatings and specialty chemicals;
• Regularly visit our client’s production sites and research facilities throughout Europe;
• Write grant applications together with the support of our client’s senior researchers;
• Build professional relationships with clients’ CEOs & CTOs, lead scientists, national government authorities, trade associations and the EU.

Candidates should:

• Have a university degree;
• Be a UK or Dutch native with English fluency;
• Have exceptionally strong research and writing skills;
• Have an interest in science and technology, specifically regarding the chemicals industry;
• Prior work experience in key account management or the chemicals industry is an advantage.
