Project Manager/ Chief Resident Engineer – Motorway
Location : Eastern Europe – Balkans area
Project Construction Supervision and Management Services - motorway
Qualifications & Skills
• University Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience at the senior managerial level in contract implementation in compliance with basic FIDIC requirements or Country of origin practices
• At least 5 years of experience at the senior managerial level in implementation of at least 2 large contracts in construction of similar projects (motorway) of high values.
• The engineer is required to have experience and knowledge of soil geo-mechanics and specialization and special knowledge of pavement works.
• At least 5 years of experience at the senior managerial level in large contract implementation, carried out in the Central and Eastern Europe or in Country of origin
• Experience in supervision of Works of similar nature and be knowledgeable in implementing local and internationally recognized standards, technical specifications and guides
• An additional qualification in Arbitrage or Contractual Settlements as well as experience in similar Project Management would be preferred
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent English language skills.
• proven experience in working with one or more IFI (EIB, EBRD, CEB, KfW) on
• successful proven experience in working with national administrations of Transition Economies will be regarded as advantageous
• The Team Leader will have excellent interpersonal skills and a record of successful project experience with multi-country teams. He/she will also need to possess excellent drafting skills and to be a good communicator and a facilitator of contacts among different stakeholders.
Expected input/duration: About 3 years starting around October 2013
