Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Cluster Coordinator, P-4, Jerusalem

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a : Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Cluster Coordinator, P-4, Jerusalem.

Qualification:
-  Advanced university degree in one of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: Public Health (MPH), Civil or Public Health Engineering, Environmental Health. Additional training in Health Education or Communication for Development (Programme Communication), an asset.
- Eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience in the UN or other international development organization, national government or the private sector. Field work experience.
-  A minimum of 5 years’ experience with either the UN and/or NGO.
-  Strong experience in the strategy formulation to translate humanitarian interventions such as water scarcity intervention to medium and long term interventions.
-  Good experience in the capacity building of counterparts, including the government, contributing to a sustainable coordination.
-  Fluency in English and another UN language (for IP)
-  Fluency in English and local working language of the duty station (for NO).
