Head of the Convention Secretariat
The WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) is the first global health treaty negotiated under the auspices of the World Health Organization and currently has 177 Parties.
The Convention Secretariat is an entity established under the WHO FCTC by the Conference of the Parties and is hosted by WHO in Geneva.
The Head of the Convention Secretariat of the WHO FCTC has overall responsibility and accountability for managing and coordinating the work of the Secretariat.
