We are currently seeking a Manager of the Global Ambassadors Program to solidify and expand the relationships between Oxfam and its partner celebrities and eminent people.
This is an enormously rewarding role that will bring together capacity to work effectively to manage the opportunities and constraints of highly visible Global Ambassadors, combined with personal commitment to the values of Oxfam.
We’re looking for someone with vision and a great strategic mind, able to build and manage a Global Ambassadors strategy and program. The right person will have experience in working with celebrities in support of not-for-profit foundations or organizations. You will have excellent diplomatic and administrative skills and ability to understand communications needs of Oxfam initiatives.
You’ll be an excellent communicator and presenter. You will be strategic, creative and able to work across different cultures and with personalities who face many competing demands.
As Manager of the Global Ambassadors Program, you will report to the Director of Global Communications and work with Campaigning and Fundraising colleagues as well as Oxfam’s 17 affiliates to develop and execute plans for the most strategic exposure of Global Ambassadors, reflecting their own priorities as well as Oxfam’s.
Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in other languages such as French and Spanish will be an advantage.
