- Grade: 6: £27,854 to £31,331 per annum
We seek to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to carry out research on an ESRC funded project, ‘Cognitive Biases and Behavioural Segmentation of Food Demand’. The successful candidate will principally contribute to the first component of the study, which seeks to develop a novel approach to segmentation of consumers based on their dietary preference patterns to facilitate better targeting of dietary interventions.
You will have:
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant area of agricultural or food economics – or likely to complete PhD by start date.
- Grounding in applied economics and econometric modelling relevant to research project.
- The ability to carry out and support high quality academic research.
- Quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis.
- Econometric modelling and estimation.
- Scientific writing, presentation and communication skills.
