Information Systems Management (Sharepoint) Specialist 

1-year assignment Iwakuni, Japan
The Period of Performance (POP) is 1 September 2013 to 31 August 2014, with one option for increased quantities from 1 April 2014 to 31 August 2014, two (2) 12 month options periods, and the option to extend services clause for a total possible period of performance of 40 months.  
Place of performance:  Iwakuni, Japan.   US Citizenship required. 
The following are highly desired:
·         BS degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent experience .
·         Secret Clearance in place preferred. 
·         Separated or retired military member, USMC preferred.
·         5+ years’ experience. 
The successful candidate must possess the following:
·         US Citizen
·         Must be able to obtain SECRET security clearance
·         Willing to relocate to Japan for at least 1-year
Specific Requirements for the Information Systems Manager (PWS 5.5.3)
·         Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience using Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Designer.
·         Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·         Extensive knowledge in development and maintenance of information management systems and databases designed to support business objectives of the organization.
·         Experience and skill in creating executive level briefs using Microsoft PowerPoint.
·         Knowledge of project and program management principles as they apply to technologically driven management solutions.
·         Knowledge and experience in creating and managing a PMIS.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities
·         Assist in managing MCAS Iwakuni DPRI Development Program SharePoint site.  Further develop this site to function as a Program Management Information System (PMIS) to facilitate the efficient and effective integration of program information and distribution across the program.
·         Integrate, automate and maintain process workflows within the PMIS to enable expeditious and traceable process execution. These features shall include automated review and approval, electronic checklists, and change tracking.  The processes defined by DPRI IPMO PgMP shall be integrated into the PMIS. 
·         Integrate, automate and maintain program status and reporting features with the PMIS to ensure efficient, real-time program reporting of project and program metrics.
·         Assist in the development of executive level briefing material which communicates program plans, status and historical data to program stakeholders.
·         Provide recommendations and technology driven solutions to more effectively manage workflow in the planning, execution, monitoring and controlling of the overall program.
