Brand Change & Governance Analyst

Context/Scope:  
WestLAC is one of the 4 markets within the LAC Region (40 countries). The market has 5 business units and is a multicultural, multi-customer, multi-channel and multi-currency environment with different taxations and regulations. A Diageo In-Market-Company is present in 6 of the markets whilst most markets are managed through distributors.  WestLAC region is growing at double-digits rates in volume, NSV and profit (F13 AOP was ~500M GBP in NSV, over 5M cases in volume). 

Purpose of Role:    
The purpose of this role is to support the WestLAC Governance agenda and the Brand Change & Innovation (BC&I) project pipeline.   These are 2 key areas that will deliver the growth of the business and the cost savings objectives of Supply, whilst protecting Diageo’s reputation and brands.

Key Outputs:     
Develops tools to track performance in BC&I area– adherence to schedule and adherence to cost - and Governance; ppms, LTA.
Benchmarks ways of reporting and processes with other markets.
Supports and follows up of brand registrations across the 40 markets interacting with the Customers and the Diageo functions responsible for producing documentation and samples.  Ensures all projects are up-loaded into SmartApprove for the approval process and ensures projects are moving at pace.
Helps to put together training programs to support the Governance agenda ie Safety program for the manufacturing sites, tracks the sampling program of the co-packers across the region, interacting with the Brand Technical Centres.
Will assist the creation of Business Continuity Plans and Crisis Management manuals and training.
Supports the project management of roll out projects throughout the region.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelor degree in a Technical / Science discipline (Packaging, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, etc.).
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing or purchasing at analyst level preferably within the pre-packed food and drinks industry.
Computer literate and excellent data management skills.
English and Spanish is required.
Travel required and estimated at 15%
Functional Capabilities:
Project management experience and skills required.
Proven knowledge of tools such as (RCPS) Root Cause Problem Solving and lean/six sigma, ISO are preferred
Experience in any of the Technical areas – Environment, Quality, Health & Safety and Project Management is preferred.
