The product areas comprise Sandvik Hard Materials, Diamond Innovations, Wolfram and Sandvik Process Systems. In 2012 sales amounted to about 7,200 MSEK, with approximately 3,600 employees.
The position would directly report toDeputy GM-Belts, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance areas:
  • Develop with the Deputy GM on business plan and sales strategy for the assigned product account that ensures the achievement of company strategy target and profitability.
  • Develops strong links, together with local sales resources, with strategic key customers and to establish long term relationships.
  • Responsible for the sales activities and development plan with existing and new customers for the assigned product account including but not limited as market penetration, product introduction, development and performance etc.
  • Work with Deputy GM on setting specific targets for assigned product account (Sales, Profit, BR and A&S etc.)
  • Monitor and analyses sales activities against product account targets and provides timely feed-back to manager regarding growth development and performance.
  • Proper use of Salesconceptand written reportsto promote SPSvalue offering, monitor activities, performance and progress to achieve agreed targets within the local designated sales force.
  • Participates in Periodical Sales review meetings.
  • Maintains close contact with production team, marketing team and relative internal departments to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction and internal profitability.
  • Successfully coach and develops local sales resources to ensure continuation in product knowledge transfer and professional sales skills.
  • Performance management and personal development plans for sales team in co-operation with Deputy GM and local HRA
  • Ensure the all team members are aware and fully understand the Power of Sandvik, EHS and Quality system in place in the company.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Jointly work together with marketingonthe development and implementation of Marketing Plan as needed
  • Provides feed-back on competitor activities and make the market trends
  • Visit trade shows and customer training seminars.
  • Conductcustomer presentations, and represents the company at trade shows and trade association meetingsif necessary.
  • Minimum of 50% travel which will mainly be domestic but could also include international travel.
Your profile:
  • College degree or above, mainly major on business administration, English or Trading
  • Minimum 5 years'related experience in the sales area with 2 years or above as product account sales manager experience will be a plus;
  • Experience in MNC will be preferred.
  • Be fluent in English in both verbal and written skills.
  • Should have the ability to effectively present information to customer top management, public groups.Otherlanguages will be aplus.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and skilled atMicrosoft Office software.
  • Professional sales skill with good communication and negotiation skills, to introduce the customers on product feature and price negotiation, aftermarket, payment and delivery;
  • Good skillful on customer action plan, to identify customer needs and draft effective actions to meet customer requirements;
  • Potential market analysis skills to make the market trends with multi marketing research;
  • Leadership skill to manage, track and motivate internal team members;
  • CET-4 or above.
As a person you are proactive, self-motivated and one with lot of initiative, courage and integrity and a business minded, result oriented attitude. You also have strong communication skills and can work in an English environment.
