PR Manager

Role and core capabilities 


Energetic and driven PR Manager focus on developing relationships with third party editors and writers which will enable us to generate PR for our brands, with an emphasis on using PR to support our brand’s commercial agendas too.

- Restless in understanding best practice across WE Reserve, testing and evaluating how to build and actively work with internal and external experts to continuously improve our programmes
- Brilliant partnerships with agencies, distributors and other stakeholders to deliver breakthrough content and execution:
- Clear and creative ways of working are initiated with the right partners (including trade gurus) in order to generate compelling solutions.
- Our agency partners go beyond what is required to create outstanding outcomes. They want to work with Reserve Italy ahead of the competition
- There are strong and effective relationships in place which are nurtured and valued with key international journalists/opinion formers.



Responsibilities 


- Creation and development of effective Reserve Germany/Austria PR plans to deliver business performance
- Effective management and monitoring of investments within the plan
- Brilliant execution resulting in competitive advantage with key customers in selected occasions
- Alignment with central Reserve team
- Selects the agencies and agency partners as appropriate
- Defines the optimum brand activity plans (or strategy) over the short and medium term. Selects the specific activities that deliver the outcomes agreed between local Reserve & European Reserve teams and how the plan will be executed (resources, plan detail, timings, partners)
- Deployment of the allocated Reserve budget resources to specific activities and brands



Essential Skills and Experience 


- 6+ years Marketing / PR experience – significant experience in luxury communications is an advantage. Luxury marketing background will be considered an asset.
- Has the contacts, relationships and gravitas to influence industry opinion formers
- Good relationship skills: proven ability to influence externally and across functions and countries
- Demonstrates strategic thinking and translation of strategies into differentiated plans
- Demonstrates an open minded approach to ease business in a usually “unconventional” marketing way
- Sensitivity and inquisition on what can be motivating and relevant for the trade
Qualifications and languages
- University / master degree
- Fluent in English and Italian as mother tongue
