The Program

The Philippines Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHRODF) is a five-year (2010-2015) initiative funded by the Australian Government. PAHRODF helps enhance the effectiveness of selected programs and reform agenda under the Philippines Australia Statement of Commitment (SOC). PAHRODF assists its partner organisations to improve their change readiness, capacities and competencies to pursue organisational development. The Facility also manages the Australia Awards and In Country Scholarship Program.

The Position

Coffey as the Facility Managing Contractor is seeking applications for an Alumni Affairs Manager. The position will act as the Facility’s key liaison to strengthen and maintain linkages with Australia Alumni in the Philippines, individually or through their groups, organisations, and networks. The position will be responsible for delivery of a comprehensive alumni action plan by 15 May 2014 (to be implemented over a 12 month period) that will achieve the intentions of the Australian Government in promoting alumni activities in the Philippines.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this position will have proven experience in managing projects and programs with integrated experience in public relations, marketing and events organising; an ability to manage funds disbursement with a focus on strict accountability and proven writing skills, with ability to produce well-structured reports and public relations material. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with displayed links with various public and private sector networks and ability to maintain these linkages, is critical to the success of this position.
