ERP Training Facilitator

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program aims to transform the current systems landscape within UNOPS into a smart, more agile and well-integrated set of processes and systems, provide end-to-end process workflows and establish an integrated automation and information system, to aid UNOPS personnel in the delivery of effective services to partners, maximize operational efficiency and ensure easy access to timely, comprehensive and accurate information and data that can support the implementation of its strategic plans, collaborate with partners better and to deliver value results: thus ensure that UNOPS sustainsits competitive advantage and performance as a preferred service provider for project services globally.
Under the guidance and direct supervision of ERP Support Analyst, the ERP Training Facilitator will develop training materials for all relevant areas of the new ERP system in order to enable the end users to achieve high proficiency and efficiency levels in their daily ERP related tasks.
Functional Responsibilities
The ERP Training Facilitator will work as part of a small team focusing on the implementation of the new ERP. He/she will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop internal training materials. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the ERP Support Analyst in the development of learning materials such as training manuals, interactive movies and how-to guides;
Support the ERP Support Analyst in the coordination of the training delivery plan, its preparation and execution by facilitating the transition of old processes to new processes for end users;
Pro-actively assist in the creation of actual business scenarios for testing and sample purposes;
Deliver Instructor Led Training (ILT) and facilitate online learning (Webex sessions) in accordance with the training plan;
Conduct training sessions;
Facilitate creation of webinars and webcasts;
Adopt the Train of Trainer (ToT) approach in training by actively collaborating with SuperUsers;
Develop and introduce new and emerging training approaches;
Ensure that all identified end-users needs are met;
Monitor and evaluate training activities and identify areas for improvement;
Ensure training materials are up to date and appropriate mechanisms for maintenance are in place;
Conduct assessments and evaluations surveys on training material effectiveness;
Facilitate the incorporation of lessons learned and continuous improvement in the learning material;
Support other trainers by creating material or facilitating their training sessions;
Perform other training related duties as required.

Education/Experience/Language requirements

First level university degree in Public or Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Education and Social Science or any related field is required and minimum of 3 years of professional experience in learning and development and/or training field involving the design, develop and delivery of courses/workshops/training activities. A combination of secondary school education or equivalent technical school with minimum 7 years of experience may be considered.
Demonstrated skills in applying ICT technology to training delivery are required. Knowledge of Camtasia, Captivate, Wink or similar software is an asset.
Languages:
Fluency in written and oral English required. French and Spanish desirable.
