Learning Administrator, HR Services
Sandvik Inc., a Swedish based international high technology engineering group with world leading positions in cemented carbide and high speed steel tools for metal cutting; equipment and tools for mining and construction; and advanced stainless steel, specialty alloy and ceramic resistance products and process systems, has an opening for a Learning Administrator within the HR Services Organization. This position will be based at their Fair Lawn, NJ office.
The role
In this role, the Learning Administrator, HR Services will be responsible for providing administrative support in the area of learning within both the United States and Canada. As a centralized function this role will provide a common approach to processes as well as ensure both Global and Local consistency. This position will liaise closely with internal customers (HRBP's, managers, employees, training owners, and content owners) and external customers and vendors.
Key Performance Areas
  • Maintain personnel training data within the PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management System (ELM).
  • Act as the first point of contact for training related inquiries while providing support to all Sandvik managers and employees via ELM in PeopleSoft, by phone, and by email.
  • Develop, review, and update the Course Catalog as required.
  • Manage Learning Requests.
  • Maintain training policies, guidelines, tools, and process documents.
  • Reporting
The successful candidate will be an integral member of the HR Services Americas Organization and will report to the Performance and Talent Lead.
Your Profile
  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience or relevant service center environment experience
  • Knowledge of Customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations while providing service in a direct or indirect manner.
  • Must have the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in both a constructive and a collaborative manner at all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Learning Management System or a similar system extremely desirable.
