Trusts Funding Officer

Farm Africa has an ambitious strategy - by 2016 we want to be directly supporting 1.5 million people each year to significantly improve their household income, move out of poverty and better withstand climate change challenges by implementing sustainable agricultural and forestry management practices. In order to realise this we have set an organisational target to double the organisation’s programmatic funding by 2016 by building on our strong stable of funders which include DFID, the EU, BLF, Ford Foundation, NORAD, and UK and European Foundations.

The Trusts Officer plays an important role in the Programmes team, with sole responsibility for developing further Farm Africa’s portfolio of trust support to deliver both unrestricted trust income and restricted programme funding from trusts. The programme funding team is a dynamic and successful new team expanding due to its success. This is the ideal role for a trusts fundraiser wanting to develop a career in international development.
