Research Development Co-ordinator

Royal Brompton & Harefield Foundation NHS Trust is the largest heart and lung centre in the UK and among the largest in Europe. Comprised of a partnership of two specialist hospitals we are known throughout the world for our expertise, standard of care and research success.
As part of the Trust’s overall strategy to expand its research activities and strengthen its research support function, we are seeking to appoint a Research Development Coordinator to join our existing Research Development Team in the Research Office.
The post-holder will be required to proactively assist in developing academically led research grants and research communications across the Trust.  He/She will project manage and provide administrative assistance and guidance in the development and submission of grant applications and will also assist Trust researchers in the timely start-up of new projects.
The successful applicant will be required to build strong relationships with the investigators, research teams, service departments and external research partners. You will be mainly office based at the Chelsea site but will be required to travel to Harefield Hospital on a regular basis. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and be approachable, adaptable and responsive is essential.
