Volunteer Radiologist

Reports to: Deputy Medical Program Manager

Duration: 3 to 4 weeks

Location of position:Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Description of role and responsibilities:

J/P HRO's Medical program is seeking for a radiologist specialized in capturing and analyzing medical images. The volunteer will diagnose illnesses and, in some cases, treat patients using medical radiation. The volunteer will also train doctors for 3-4 weeks in abdominal and OB/Gyn Ultrasound. When not training, the radiologist will assist in the Ob/Gyn department.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Sonography (ARRT)(S) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Fluency in English or French
• Self-motivated and positive
• Flexible and resourceful
