Sandvik Mining and Construction Materials Handling GmbH & Co KG in Leoben is looking for a
Head of Construction Site Management (f/m)
As Head of Construction Site Management you will be part of the MO Europe and Global Projects team. In this position you ensure that all site related activities for our customersare planned, staffed and executed according to respective project time schedules. You guarantee that the whole value-chain is provided with site management expertise.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Lay-out of construction site and assembly area; planning whole infrastructure and site establishment for construction site
  • Ensuring construction and site safety
  • Liaising with customers and reporting progress
  • Alignment of delivery lots in cooperation with logistics and engineering
  • Regular construction site visits
  • Supporting supervisors/site managers in claims management
  • Sales Support (e.g. calculation and planning of time and costs; selection of potential suppliers)
  • Engineering support (e.g. troubleshooting technical issues)
  • Coordination and budgeting of staff planning; selection and on-boarding of employees
YOUR PROFILE
  • 5-10 years of on-site experience, preferably as supervisor
  • 2-5 years of experience as site manager or head of construction site team preferred
  • Technical education preferred
  • Leadership experience
  • Intercultural awareness and experience in multinational environment
  • Technical expertise for bulk material handling equipment and continuous mining systems
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
