Project/Proposal Summary:

MSI seeks experienced Anti-Corruption Specialists for an upcoming, long-term, USAID-sponsored project in Liberia that will build the technical and institutional capacity of the Anti-Corruption Commission and strengthen civil society public awareness, advocacy and watchdog activities in the anti-corruption field.

Position Summaries:

Specialists to Assist the Anti-Corruption Commission

• Provide institutional strengthening support to the Commission, for example, by strategic planning, staff training, human resources assessments, etc. • Assist the Commission in strengthening its abilities to conduct its mandated functions, including registering complaints, investigating complaints, monitoring government anticorruption action plans, enhancing anti-corruption laws and procedures, conducting public education activities, coordinating with other government agencies, and implementing preventive reforms and procedures that reduce corruption in government.

Qualifications: • Demonstrated technical expertise in anti-corruption. • Experience in anti-corruption and good governance areas working with governmental institutions (such as anti-corruption commissions, ombudsman, or state audit institutions); required; experience working with civil society organizations on anti-corruption efforts preferred. • Prior experience on a USAID or other international donor-funded anti-corruption or government accountability projects preferred. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
